Surgery
Prior to any surgical procedure, our doctors recommend pre-surgical testing be performed on all of our surgery patients. If your pet is over 5 years of age, the doctors require an IV catheter be placed before sedation. Pre-surgical catheter placement allows us to quickly administer medication to your pet should it become necessary during surgery. In addition to electrical monitoring, your pet will be assigned a technician who will be constantly monitoring anesthesia level, heart rate and respiration throughout the entire procedure. From routine spays and neuters to orthopedic surgeries, our veterinarians are experienced in a wide variety of surgical procedures.
